Making the grade

"Come on Emma. You promised. I'll fail if you don't," Charlotte begged with her hands clasped together in front of her. In her final year of university, Charlotte Sinclair finds herself facing the possibility of failing.

At thirty one her boss sent her back to school. The promotion she was offered was contingent upon her having a degree. The first two years Charlotte was a model student. But in her third year a host of personal setbacks, threatened to derail her graduation.

Seeing her quandary, one of Charlotte's professors and personal friend of her boss comes to her aid. Professor Amelia Roth said that she'd give Charlotte the grade she needed, if she filmed, and presented a thirty minute documentary, on the reaction of regular people seeing a half naked person tied up in a public setting.

The stipulations to the assignment she would find out, is that she has to find someone to volunteer to be her subject. She could not hire a professional or offer money to someone to be a subject. She also could not be the subject herself.

Professor Roth also gave Charlotte a second option. If she could not find a volunteer. Charlotte could volunteer for something else. But she had to try and find a volunteer for the first assignment beforehand.

So in desperation Charlotte turns to her best friend Emma Scott. "Please, Emma, help me. I'm afraid of what professor Roth's other test might be. Please help!"
