My March Captions

What a month March 2020 has been. This new reality of self isolation is nothing new to me. After my break down seven years ago, self isolation became my reality for five long lonely withdrawn years. Just last week a friend asked how I'm surviving being stuck at home. My answer was "this is nothing new to me, it's all you people entering my world. Get the hell out."

My trek through depression and getting use to the label of disabled, has prepared me for this strange and particular time. I've learned how to take isolation and grow with it. We humans have a silver lining amidst all the insanity gripping the world right now.

The one common thing humans around the globe have been saying for years is that, "I don't have time to" well you do now. At this time in human history being isolated is a golden opportunity for people. Why you ask? You're looking at it, the internet.

At no other time in human history, has the common person had the wealth of human knowledge, so easily available to them. Not that long ago you had to leave your dwelling and go to a library to access this knowledge. Even then you had limited time to use the resources before having to return it, or sign it out again.

There is so much more to the online world than social media, and doom and gloom news reporting. While during my five years of depression induced self isolation. I've taught myself how to design 3D models using SketchUp. I'm teaching myself how to earn money online. I now know how to build websites. I've written a book worth of short stories, now I am researching self publishing those stories. I've also designed a few concept ideas. One is to aid disable people, but it can spillover to other aspects of life. The other idea takes one of our biggest polluters and transforms into a product for one of humanity biggest industries, while helping to save a natural resource.

Then there's a new pastime I'm learning. That's video making and editing. I'll never be a Lucus or a Spielberg. But I hope to improve upon my crude beginnings like the one below, and eventually use this skill, to promote the vanilla online store I'm building.

So stop bitching about what you can't control outside your front door, and use this gift of this, time, to make yourself a better and smarter person, for when we emerge from this present global nightmare.

The video below is just a compiling of captions I made during the month of March. It's the second video I've made. The first one is on this blog too. It's titled, "The devil inside." Feel free to check that one out too.

But for now, stay safe, stay healthy and stay inside.

I tried a video for March

The Devil Inside the scene

I discovered a new skill and I'm crazy about it. To think that with a simple editor I can make a simple video. Next comes how to transition from frame to fame. I named this one The Devil Inside. Of course the video has a Femdom theme to it. If I can find a narration app that I can voiceover the pages to one of my stories, that would be great. But for now it's a start. Please let me know what you thinking.
